The role
Pollard is Tennessee's projected three-down bell cow: he is modelled to collect carries and catches. That is a valuable archetype, but this 10-team league evaluates RBs against RB24 rather than a twelfth-ranked starter. His ADP 63.2 is a market input near the 60/61-to-80/81 range, not a fixed "sixth-round" instruction.
The number
The promoted file lists 197.2 projected points, 242 carries, 32 catches, and 10-team proxy ADP 63.2. These are projections; the bell-cow label remains a workload hypothesis.
The risk
The CSV rates his risk as med. The label is a workload hypothesis: a projected 32 catches is not evidence that the passing-down role is settled, and the current ledger contains no accepted Pollard-specific confirmation. Availability does not argue against him — one game missed in three years, and it never reached the injury report — so the medium rating is about role rather than health.
The context
He is 29.4 on the September 9 opener and was a fourth-round pick, 128th overall, in 2019 out of Memphis — low draft capital, so by Draft capital dominance nobody is protecting an investment in him. He is nonetheless the most durable back in this group: 17, 16 and 17 games in 2023, 2024 and 2025, one game missed, and that absence never appeared on the official injury report, so it was not medical. He has never been listed Out in three years, only Questionable five times, an ankle in four of them. The 2025 line complicates the label. He took 242 carries — exactly the number now projected — but was on the field for only 62.5 percent of snaps and caught 33 passes on a 7.7 percent target share. He is a free agent in 2027.

August 2 candidate snapshot
The gated 10-team candidate file lists 197.2 projected points (242 carries, 32 catches) and Fantasy Football Calculator 10-team PPR proxy ADP 63.2. The three-down label remains a projection hypothesis pending role evidence.
- Is the ADP 63.2 Fantasy Football Calculator PPR proxy (not ESPN's own) a disagreement with the projection's carry count, or with the offense's ability to run at all?
- His catch projection is modest for a bell cow — does he actually stay on the field on passing downs, or is the archetype label doing more work than the stat line supports?
