Correction 2026-07-18: raised from 52 GP / 6.0 MPG to 58 / 12.0 and the counting stats re-derived. The team page's season-minute model left roughly a fifth of Portland's 19,680 available minutes unassigned, and a 6-minute season average was not credible for a 6-foot-8 shooter who played 19.2 minutes a night after arriving in February on a roster that has since lost Grant, Murray, Love and, pending re-signing, Thybulle.
Role and evidence
Krejčí joined Portland from Atlanta on February 1, 2026. In 19 Portland appearances he averaged 7.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 threes in 19.2 minutes. ESPN, accessed 2026-07-18. The official NBA roster still lists him as a standard player. NBA team page, accessed 2026-07-18
At 6-foot-8 he can absorb wing minutes, a useful trait on a guard-heavy roster. The healthy rotation, however, puts Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara, Shaedon Sharpe and Jrue Holiday ahead of him.
Fantasy value
- 9-cat / points: 200+; watch-list and deep-league bench only.
- Dynasty: 220+; NBA role more valuable than fantasy role.
- Streaming trigger: two of Portland's top eight perimeter players unavailable.
Range
- Ceiling: 18 minutes and 1.5 threes after a trade.
- Floor: frequent DNP-CDs.

Career record
Pre-NBA: Born June 19, 2000 in Strakonice, Czech Republic; listed at 6-8, 195. He moved to Spain at 14 to join Basket Zaragoza and debuted professionally in Liga ACB on March 5, 2017, aged 16 years and eight months, the second-youngest debut in club history. His last full pre-NBA season, 2019-20, was a bench role — 3.2 points in 9.2 minutes — but earned him ACB All-Young Players Team honors. He tore an ACL on September 25, 2020 playing for Zaragoza against Real Madrid, which cost him the entire 2020-21 season; he rehabbed with Oklahoma City's G League affiliate before making his NBA debut. Draft: 2020, second round, 37th overall by Washington; rights traded to Oklahoma City.

Durability: 203 games across five NBA seasons. The low totals early are role, not health — 29 games at 5.7 minutes in 2022-23 was a healthy scratch season, and 22 games in 2023-24 came at 24.6 minutes, meaning he was either playing a lot or not at all. The one real medical event is the September 2020 ACL tear at Zaragoza that wiped out his draft year. He played 65 games in 2025-26 across the trade, his highest total.
Trajectory: The shooting has improved every year he has had a role: 32.7% from three as a rookie, then 41.2%, 43.7% and 42.3% in Atlanta on rising volume, peaking at 2.2 makes a game in 22 minutes before the February 1, 2026 trade. The 19-game Portland sample (30.3% from three) is small enough to discount but is the reason his role there is unsettled. He is a genuine NBA rotation wing — 6-8, moves the ball, low turnovers, some steals — and a poor fantasy asset, because there is no category he wins other than threes and no usage to grow into behind Deni Avdija, Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara and Jrue Holiday. He is under contract on a four-year, $10 million extension signed in July 2024, so his roster spot is safe and cheap. He matters only if Portland trades a starting wing or two of the perimeter rotation are out at once, at which point 18-20 minutes and 1.5-2.0 threes is a real deep-league line.
