55 10.0 .420 .660 0.4 2.7 1.2 0.8 0.4 0.1 0.5

Correction 2026-07-18: raised from 38 GP / 3.0 MPG to 55 / 10.0 and the counting stats re-derived. This was the single least defensible line in the team projection: Cissoko played 75 games at 19.1 MPG in 2025-26, third on the roster in games played and seventh in total minutes, and was rewarded with a standard contract in February. Projecting him at three minutes a night implied a collapse nobody has reported. He still has no claim on the healthy rotation — the healthy-night median remains 3 minutes — but the season average has to price in the absences forecast in front of him.

Role and evidence

Cissoko played 75 games in 2025-26, averaging 5.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.7 steals in 19.1 minutes. ESPN, accessed 2026-07-18. Portland converted him from a two-way deal to a standard contract February 20; reporting states the 2026-27 season is non-guaranteed. Trail Blazers, 2026-02-20 · Blazer's Edge, 2026-02-20

His strength and defensive utility fit Portland's need for bigger wings, but Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija, Jrue Holiday and Vít Krejčí all have clearer paths. The median gives him only three healthy-night minutes and more work when injuries hit.

Career record

Pre-NBA: French, developed in Spain. He joined Saski Baskonia's youth system at 13, averaged 17.4 points for Baskonia B in Liga EBA (Spain's fourth tier) in 2020-21, and made his senior ACB debut for Baskonia in September 2021 at 17. He then spent a loan season with Iraurgi SB in LEB Oro (second tier): 32 GP, 10.8 PTS, 3.0 REB, 2.4 AST. In 2022-23 he became the first European signed by G League Ignite and posted 28 GP, 29.3 MPG, 12.8 PTS, 2.8 REB, 3.6 AST, earning a Rising Stars Challenge appearance. Shooting splits for the Ignite season are not verified here. Draft: 2023, second round, 44th overall by San Antonio.

The 2025-26 season is the only meaningful sample and it is unambiguous about the problem: .298 from three and .659 from the line. Career three-point percentage sits at .283. He was traded twice and waived once in 2024-25 before Portland signed him to a two-way on February 8, 2025, then converted him to a two-year, $3.2 million standard deal on February 20, 2026.

Durability: 75 of 82 games in 2025-26, third on the roster in games played. The thin totals in his first two seasons were assignment and transaction churn, not health. There is no injury pattern to flag.

Trajectory: A 6-7 wing who at 21 absorbed 19 minutes a night on a rebuilding team and defended well enough to hold the job — 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocks in that role is respectable. Everything offensive is a liability: under 30 percent from three, under 66 percent from the line, and no scoring volume. Camara, Avdija, Holiday and Krejčí are all ahead of him, and the 2026-27 salary is non-guaranteed, so the first question is whether he is on the roster at all. He becomes streamable only on a confirmed 22-plus minute role after a trade or an injury wave in Portland's wing group, and even then he would be a steals-only add. The jumper is the whole dynasty case and it has not arrived.
