Role and evidence
Camara played all 82 games in 2025-26, starting every one and averaging 13.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.7 threes in 33.3 minutes. ESPN, accessed 2026-07-18. Hashtag ranks him No. 122 in dynasty. Hashtag Basketball, updated 2026-07-02
The 31-minute median assumes he starts at power forward and takes the most difficult perimeter matchup. That assignment is vital beside the small Ja Morant–Damian Lillard backcourt. Shot volume falls slightly because the new guards command possessions, but Jerami Grant's exit protects frontcourt minutes.
Fantasy value
- 9-cat: picks 90-120 for threes, steals and durability; weak FT and ordinary scoring limit upside.
- Points: top 100-130.
- Dynasty: top 100-135; stable role, modest star ceiling.
Range
- Ceiling: repeats 33 minutes and 2.7 threes while returning toward 1.5 steals.
- Floor: 27 minutes and low-double-digit scoring if Portland closes with three guards plus Avdija.
- Swing variables: starting alignment, corner-three accuracy and whether he closes at small-ball center.

Career record
Pre-NBA: Born in Brussels, Belgium; four college seasons across two schools. Georgia 2019-20: 6.6 points, 4.3 rebounds in 24.0 minutes on .494/.172/.625 over 32 games. Georgia 2020-21: 12.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists in 28.4 minutes on .486/.263/.621 over 25 games. He transferred to Dayton and went 10.9 points and 6.9 rebounds on .510/.338/.591 in 2021-22, then 13.9 points, 8.6 rebounds in 30.0 minutes on .546/.363/.669 across 34 games in 2022-23. The four-year arc from .172 to .363 from three is the single most predictive line in his file — he rebuilt the shot in college before rebuilding it again in the NBA, and the free-throw percentage never followed. Draft: 2023, second round, 52nd overall, Phoenix Suns, traded to Portland before his rookie season.

He made the NBA All-Defensive Second Team for 2024-25, Portland's first such selection since 2004. He missed the 2025-26 teams despite being the Blazers' leading vote-getter, finishing 14th in balloting on four first-place and 20 second-place votes, and set the NBA single-season record for offensive fouls drawn with 106.
Fantasy history: 2023-24 was outside standard-league relevance. 2024-25 is not verifiable to a precise season-end nine-category rank, but the profile — 1.5 steals, 1.7 threes and 5.8 rebounds across 78 games — was clearly mid-round useful. For 2025-26, in-season tracking at the 56-game mark had him at roughly 13th-round nine-category value, which is late-standard-league territory and squares with the season line: the three-point volume nearly doubled but steals fell, FT% dropped to .708 on a category-damaging number of attempts, and turnovers rose to 1.8. Points-league value runs materially better than category value here, because points formats reward his minutes, threes and rebounds while ignoring the FT% drag that is his largest single negative.
Durability: 2023-24: 70 GP. 2024-25: 78 GP. 2025-26: 82 GP, all starts. The trend runs the right direction. The rookie-year total is misleading as a red flag — he had missed only three games before a fractured rib and a small kidney laceration suffered against Atlanta in late March 2024 ended his season, a traumatic-contact injury with no recurrence mechanism. He played through a December 2024 foot issue in his second year. The full 82 in 2025-26 while absorbing the hardest perimeter assignment nightly is the strongest availability signal in this file.
Trajectory: The three-year climb is real improvement rather than a minutes illusion, which the rate data confirms: per-36 scoring went 10.9, then 12.4, then 14.5, and three-point makes per-36 went 1.2, 1.9, 2.9 across the same span. He has added shot volume every year without the percentage collapsing, holding .370 in 2025-26 on roughly double his rookie attempt rate. Two things moved against him last season and both matter for 2026-27: steals fell from 1.5 to 1.1 and rebounds per-36 slid from 6.4 to 5.5, both consistent with a drift from the interior toward full-time perimeter defense, and both are the categories that carried his fantasy case. At 26 he is at the front edge of prime with the defensive role locked in by an $82 million extension, so minutes are close to guaranteed — but the ceiling is capped by usage he will not get on a roster that added Morant and Lillard, and by a free-throw percentage that has now declined three straight years to .708 and is unlikely to reverse. Expect the 2025-26 line roughly repeated at slightly lower minutes, with the steals rate the one variable that could move him a full tier.
