Status and evidence

Portland's NBA page still lists Wesley, but his July 2025 agreement was a fully guaranteed one-year contract covering 2025-26. NBA team page, accessed 2026-07-18 · Rose Garden Report, 2025-07-22. No 2026 re-signing was verified by the cutoff.

Wesley averaged 4.8 points, 1.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.5 steals in 11.6 minutes over 31 games in 2025-26. He also missed 8-12 weeks after surgery on a right-foot fracture. ESPN, accessed 2026-07-18 · Blazer's Edge, 2025-11-06

Four seasons, four starts. He was assigned to the Austin Spurs in the G League during 2022-23 and 2023-24.

Durability: 37, 61, 58, 31 games. The 2025-26 total is the only injury-driven one: he fractured the fifth metatarsal of his right foot on November 3 against Denver, had surgery, and was ruled out 8-12 weeks. The San Antonio seasons were rotation decisions rather than health, with minutes shrinking each year from 18.1 to 11.8.

Trajectory: Four years in and the shooting has not arrived. He has never made more than 0.5 threes per game, has never cleared .300 from three in a full season since his rookie year, and is a career .617 free-throw shooter — that combination caps a guard whose only distinguishing category is assists at 2.4 in fourteen minutes. San Antonio declined to keep him after three seasons; Portland gave him one guaranteed year and no starts. He is unsigned as of July 18, 2026 and carries no Portland projection. He becomes fantasy-relevant only in a scenario where he signs somewhere thin at guard and an injury pushes him to 20-plus minutes, and even then the line is assists and low-percentage volume — a points-league emergency, not a category contributor.
