Correction 2026-07-18: raised from 10 GP / 4.0 MPG to 18 / 6.0 as part of redistributing the season minutes the team page had left unassigned. Caleb Love's July departure to Philadelphia also removes the guard immediately ahead of him on the call-up queue.
Role and evidence
Youngblood signed a Portland two-way contract March 3. NBA G League official release, 2026-03-04. As an Oklahoma City rookie he averaged 2.0 points in 5.4 minutes across 32 NBA games, shooting .314 from three; with OKC Blue he averaged 23.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists over 10 games. ESPN, accessed 2026-07-18 · Blazer's Edge, 2026-03-02
The current guard logjam leaves no healthy-rotation minutes. Summer League scoring is encouraging for organizational depth, not a redraft signal.
Fantasy value
- Redraft: 300+.
- Dynasty: 230+ in very deep formats.
- Trigger: a standard conversion plus a multi-week injury wave.
Range
- Ceiling: becomes a bench shooting specialist and reaches 10 minutes.
- Floor: exclusive G League role.

Career record
Pre-NBA: Five college seasons, 150 games, at three schools. Three years at Kennesaw State — 12.4, 13.9 and 14.7 points, with the three-point mark climbing .331 to .405 to .415 — then a transfer year at South Florida in 2023-24 that was his best: 15.3 points on .458/.416, AAC co-Player of the Year and first-team All-AAC. Finished at Alabama in 2024-25 under Nate Oats in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, where the role shrank to 10.3 points on .447/.388 in 28 games. First-team All-Atlantic Sun in 2023, A-Sun All-Freshman in 2021. Draft: undrafted (2025).

One NBA season, 34 games, and 5.4 minutes per appearance — garbage time and end-of-rotation spot duty, not a role. His three-point mark was .314 in the Oklahoma City sample and .333 overall on roughly 1.5 attempts per game, which is too little volume to conclude anything either way. Blazer's Edge reported a 10-game OKC Blue stretch at 23.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists, which is where his actual 2025-26 production lives.
Durability: No injuries on record. Every gap is contractual: a two-way with Oklahoma City signed October 18, 2025, waived February 6, 2026, then a Portland two-way in early March 2026.
Trajectory: A five-year college scorer whose case is shooting volume, and whose one NBA season produced neither the volume nor the percentage to prove it. The G League line says the scoring is real at that level; the 34 NBA games say nothing yet. Portland's guard group leaves him no healthy-rotation minutes, though Caleb Love's July departure to Philadelphia moves him up the call-up queue by one. He becomes fantasy-relevant only on a standard-contract conversion plus a multi-week injury wave through the backcourt — and even then the realistic outcome is a 10-minute bench shooter, which is a streaming add rather than a roster piece.
