Jordan Miller

Jordan Miller is an efficient connector with a secure new contract but an insecure fantasy workload in LA's crowded wing rotation.

Cutoff/status: 2026-07-18; officially re-signed LAC guard/wing, age 26, on a reported three-year, $15.3 million contract with only the first year fully guaranteed. NBA signing report, updated 2026-07-10 · Hoops Rumors terms · Los Angeles Clippers

Baseline and 2026-27 projection

Miller played 60 games at 22.1 MPG, averaging 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.2 blocks and 0.6 threes on .531/.777 shooting with 1.1 turnovers. Basketball-Reference

Correction 2026-07-18: minutes raised from 12.0 to 17.0 and the counting line re-scaled. The earlier figure halved the role of a returning rotation wing without a cited basis. He played 22.1 MPG in 2025-26 with 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists on .531/.345/.777, and LA re-signed him in July to three years and $15.3M with the first year fully guaranteed — a team paying to keep a role, not to shed one. The Hachimura and Wagler additions justify a cut from 22.1, not a cut to 12. Hoops Rumors, 2026-07-10

Career record

Pre-NBA: Five college seasons. Three at George Mason — 10.4 points as a freshman pressed into starting by injuries, 12.7 and 5.3 as a sophomore, 15.8 as a junior with third-team All-Atlantic 10 — then two at Miami, where he was a 10.0-point, 5.9-rebound complementary piece in 2021-22 before a 15.3-point, 6.2-rebound, 2.7-assist, 1.2-steal fifth year that made him second-team All-ACC and carried Miami to a Final Four. His Elite Eight line against Texas was 7-for-7 from the field and 13-for-13 from the line, the second such game in NCAA tournament history. Draft: 2023, second round, 48th overall, LA Clippers.

Durability: 8, 37 and 60 games, with the games total limited by contract status as much as health in the first two years — he was on a two-way from August 2023, waived in July 2025, re-signed to another two-way that month, and only converted to a standard deal on February 18, 2026. The 22 games missed in 2025-26 were front-loaded: a hamstring cost him the first ten, a low-back problem took most of the next stretch, and he played four of the Clippers' first 25 games. He was available almost continuously after that, missing one late game to a back flare-up.

Trajectory: Three straight years of doubled minutes ending in a genuine rotation role, and the efficiency held while the workload grew — 53.1% from the field at 22 minutes is the most encouraging thing in the file. The limits are just as clear: 0.6 threes on 34.5% means he is not a floor spacer, and the assist and steal rates are useful without being category-winning. LA paid three years and $15.3 million to keep him, which is a vote for the role, but Rui Hachimura and the returning wings argue the 22.1 minutes were partly an artifact of an injury-thinned roster. He is a deep-league hold who becomes streamable at 25-plus minutes, which requires a Kawhi Leonard absence or a wing trade — the two things most likely to happen on this roster.
