Fantasy translation
- Nine-category: per-game rank 12-28; totals rank roughly 25-55. Strong percentages, points, threes and steals support almost any build.
- Points: top-25-to-40 target, with missed games the main discount rather than scoring-system fit.
- Dynasty: contender-only rank 80-120. The July crowd market ranked him 86th but already labeled him Toronto, evidence that market price is reacting to the reported deal rather than its legal completion. Hashtag keeper market
Role and scenarios
- Low: the trade remains delayed, availability falls near 45-50 games, or investigation/contract uncertainty disrupts the season; totals value lands outside the top 60.
- Base: 60 games, 32 minutes and slightly regressed scoring while retaining first-option LAC usage or a co-star Toronto role.
- High: the trade resolves cleanly, he reaches 65-plus games and repeats elite efficiency; top-10 per-game value remains live.
The destination changes teammate usage more than Leonard's own category shape. Toronto would reduce some late-clock burden; LA preserves maximum scoring. Official game notes record several ankle absences but no active restriction at the cutoff. Official Clippers game notes

Career record
Pre-NBA: San Diego State, two seasons. As a freshman in 2009-10 he played 34 games at 31.3 minutes for 12.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.7 blocks on .455/.205/.726; as a sophomore in 2010-11, 36 games at 32.6 minutes for 15.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.7 blocks on .444/.291/.759. Two-season college line: 14.1 points and 10.2 rebounds on .449 shooting and .250 from three. He was Mountain West Freshman of the Year, twice first-team All-MWC, and a consensus second-team All-American in 2011; his number 15 is retired at San Diego State. The relevant historical note is that he entered the league as a rebounding wing who could not shoot β 25 percent from three across two college seasons β which makes the later .863 career free throw mark and 2.6 threes per game the most complete shooting reconstruction of his generation. Draft: 2011, first round, 15th overall, Indiana Pacers; traded on draft night to San Antonio with the rights to Erazem Lorbek and Davis Bertans for George Hill.

The 2021-22 row is blank because Leonard did not appear in a single game that season while rehabilitating a right ACL repair; it is a genuine zero, not missing data.
Fantasy history: Season-end nine-category ranks from a rater source could not be verified for any season and are therefore not asserted. The shape the per-game record supports: from 2015-16 onward Leonard has been a per-game top-25 category asset in every season he was healthy enough to rate, and the reason is unusually stable β he pairs a .499 career field goal percentage on wing volume with an .863 free throw mark, which is a rare double-positive, and adds 1.7 career steals with low turnovers for a primary scorer. Blocks are the only category he has never helped in. The dossier's cited Yahoo High Score placement of 12th carries a 2026-03-17 date, meaning it reflects the season in progress rather than a final tally, so it should be read as a strong mid-season per-game rank rather than a closing rank. Points-league value has always run materially below category value: his assist volume is modest for a first option, his turnover suppression earns nothing in points formats, and his historical games-played record penalizes cumulative scoring more than it penalizes per-game roto.
Durability: 64, 58, 66, 64, 72, 74, 9, 60, 57, 52, 0, 52, 68, 37, 65. This is the central fact of the profile and it has three distinct eras. Through 2016-17 he was ordinarily available, peaking at 74 games. The 2017-18 collapse to nine games was right quadriceps tendinopathy and the dispute with San Antonio over its treatment. From 2018-19 through 2020-21 the absences were a mix of deliberate load management in Toronto and knee maintenance in Los Angeles, ending with a partially torn right ACL in the 2021 playoffs; surgery followed and cost him all of 2021-22. He returned to 52 games in 2022-23, tore the meniscus in the same knee that April, played 68 in 2023-24, then lost the first two-plus months of 2024-25 to right knee inflammation and finished at 37. The 2025-26 absences were, for once, not the knee: an ankle sprain against Miami on November 3, 2025 that carried a significant foot sprain with it, a further ankle sprain dating from January 7, 2026, and a knee contusion that brought a temporary 30-minute cap. Sources conflict on which ankle was involved in each event, so laterality is not asserted here. He cleared the 65-game awards threshold with almost nothing to spare.
Trajectory: The 2025-26 season is the outlier that has to be explained rather than extrapolated. At 34 he posted a career-high 27.9 points on .505 shooting with a career-high 2.6 threes and a career-high .892 from the line β scoring more efficiently than at any point since 2016-17 while playing his fewest minutes since 2014-15. That is a shot-diet result, not an athleticism result: the three-point volume is where the extra points came from, and it is the least age-sensitive way to add scoring. Assists have been flat around 3.6 since 2022-23, rebounds have drifted down from the 7.2-7.3 peak to 6.4, and blocks have effectively left the profile at 0.4 β those are the real aging markers, and they are mild. Steals actually rose to 1.9, his best mark since 2014-15. The honest reading for 2026-27 is that the per-game skill is not the risk and has not begun to decay; the entire distribution is availability, and a player who has cleared 65 games twice in eight seasons entering an age-35 year with an unresolved trade and knee history is a totals-format liability no matter how good the rate stats look. Expect efficiency to hold and volume to regress modestly toward the 25-26 point range, with the outcome decided almost entirely by how many nights he dresses.
