Market-state verdict
- Verified coverage result: no season-stamped, post-draft public 2026-27 ADP table with a disclosed date window, sample size, league format, and rookie population was found at ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, Rotoworld, or FantasyPros by July 18.
- Usable now: three April/May publisher boards, one late-June/early-July 48-pick category mock, several small dynasty rookie drafts, and individual analyst or community ranks.
- Not usable as current ADP: prior-season platform averages, expert consensus ranks, article order, isolated mocks, projections, betting odds, and pages whose current team labels sit on old 2025-26 data.
- Draft-market inference: Wembanyama, Jokic, Gilgeous-Alexander, and Doncic form the clearest early top-four cluster. Maxey, Cunningham, Jalen Johnson, and Edwards recur in the next group. This is a synthesis of dated artifacts, not a measured 2026-27 ADP.
Vocabulary that must not collapse
| Field | What it measures | Minimum metadata | May be called ADP? |
|---|---|---|---|
| ADP | Mean or other stated average selection position across completed drafts | Platform, season, date window, format, league size, draft count or sample size | Yes, if the sample is real and disclosed |
| Mock pick | One manager's selection in one simulated or expert room | Date, pick, format, league size, participants | No |
| Analyst rank | An ordered recommendation | Author, date, scoring system, player universe | No |
| ECR | Aggregate of expert ranks | Experts, update date, format, aggregation method | No |
| Projection | Forecast statistics or fantasy points | Model/source, date, scoring rules | No |
| Community board | One poster's rank, crowdsourced list, or thread | Date, format, method, engagement context | No |
| Rookie-draft result | Actual selections in a dynasty league | League settings, managers, pick order, date | Only after enough comparable drafts are aggregated |

Cross-board first-round signal
The table preserves the four artifacts' different units. A dash means the player was outside the displayed opening ten or twelve, not absent from the full source.
| Player | ESPN points rank | Yahoo/Titus early rank | Rotoworld 8-cat mock | Jun/Jul category mock | Read |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Victor Wembanyama | 2 | 2 | 1 | 1 | Stable top-two market |
| Nikola Jokic | 1 | 1 | 2 | 2 | Stable top-two market |
| Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | 3 | 3 | 4 | 3 | Stable top-four market |
| Luka Doncic | 4 | 4 | 3 | 4 | Stable top-four market |
| Tyrese Maxey | 5 | 6 | 5 | 5 | Stable next-tier signal |
| Cade Cunningham | 6 | 5 | 6 | 6 | Stable next-tier signal |
| Jalen Johnson | 8 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Repeated early-first-round signal |
| Anthony Edwards | 10 | 8 | 9 | 7 | Repeated early-first-round signal |
| Tyrese Haliburton | 20 | — | 7 | 8 | Large points/category and health-context spread |
| Giannis Antetokounmpo | 7 | 10 | 16 | 11 | Free-throw and format sensitivity |
| Jayson Tatum | 12 | 9 | 11 | 10 | Early-first baseline, all before later context |
| Cooper Flagg | 11 | — | 15 | 16 | Late-first/early-second early price; not current ADP |
These observations should remain source-specific. Averaging the four columns would create false precision because the formats, room sizes, dates, and rank types differ.
The freshest four-round mock
The June 26–July 1 room is the best public post-draft price-discovery artifact found, but it is still one mock. Its first 48 selections were:
| Round | Picks in order |
|---|---|
| 1 | Wembanyama; Jokic; Gilgeous-Alexander; Doncic; Maxey; Cunningham; Edwards; Haliburton; Jalen Johnson; Tatum; Antetokounmpo; Barnes |
| 2 | Curry; Towns; Holmgren; Flagg; Leonard; Mitchell; Durant; LaMelo Ball; Trey Murphy III; Harden; Jamal Murray; Trae Young |
| 3 | Cameron Boozer; Anthony Davis; Mobley; Giddey; Reaves; Markkanen; Brunson; Derrick White; Jaylen Brown; Amen Thompson; Booker; Adebayo |
| 4 | Bane; Avdija; Jaren Jackson Jr.; Banchero; Duren; Sengun; Kessler; Jalen Williams; LeBron James; Franz Wagner; Sabonis; Brandon Miller |
Community objections in the linked threads centered on availability, format, and price: Haliburton's recovery, Giannis's healthy per-game ceiling, Flagg's late-season upside, LaMelo Ball's durability, and the age/availability discount on Curry and Kawhi Leonard. Those are opinions and risk premiums, not medical forecasts.
Community boards and label hazards
Reddit blocked the final automated URL audit with HTTP 403, a platform-access constraint rather than evidence that the posts are absent; the post identities, dates, and content were independently captured in Reddit fantasy basketball.
- Very early first-five-round board — 2026-04-10; described as 12-team, nine-category and includes acquisition ranges. It is one author's modeled board, not observed ADP, and predates the draft and major roster changes.
- Way-too-early Top 50 — 2026-04-13; the author described the method as personal feel. The title says ADP, but the payload is a personal ranking.
- Early rankings and targets — 2026-04-06; useful as evidence that Flagg's late-first/early-second conversation existed before the draft, not as a current price.
- ESPN mock/projection discussion — 2026-06-22; a discovery lead only. The thread itself noted conflicting Harden placements across interface surfaces.
- Mock simulator discussion — 2026-06-01; useful evidence that users wanted mocks, but no population-level dataset.
Platform audit
| Platform | Public page checked | State on 2026-07-18 | Decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| ESPN | Fantasy basketball hub | No responsibly citable public 2026-27 ADP sample located | Do not infer ADP from ranks or interface defaults |
| Yahoo | Draft analysis route | No accessible season-stamped 2026-27 table with sample metadata | Monitor after draft rooms open |
| CBS | ADP page | Current roster overlays appeared beside an unverified residual player pool; Commissioner had not yet opened for 2026-27 | Reject as current 2026-27 ADP |
| Rotoworld | Fantasy Basketball hub | A dated mock and current news were available, but no full public post-draft ADP table | Store picks as mock picks only |
| FantasyPros | Overall ADP | Explicitly 2025-26; two-source Yahoo/ESPN consensus; 2026 rookies absent | Historical only |
Current team labels are mutable presentation metadata. They do not prove that ranks, projections, or ADP have rolled into the 2026-27 season.
Rookie and dynasty market
- Redraft and dynasty markets must remain separate. Cameron Boozer's No. 25 selection in the 48-pick category mock is a redraft-room observation, not a dynasty rookie price.
- Six small public dynasty drafts summarized in Reddit fantasy basketball produced descriptive medians of 1.5 for AJ Dybantsa and Cameron Boozer, 3 for Darryn Peterson, 4 for Caleb Wilson, and 5 for Darius Acuff Jr. The samples mix settings and are too small to call ADP.
- Individual rookie draft results and a first-12-picks example are market anecdotes. Preserve league type and settings before ingestion.
- The post-draft Rookies and dynasty desk top-30 board is a synthesized evaluation, not a measured market. It should never be written into an ADP column.
Safe ingestion schema

If rank_type = adp, sample_size and date_window should be known or explicitly marked undisclosed. Never fill them with guesses.
Update gates
- Recheck ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, Rotoworld, and FantasyPros when public 2026-27 draft rooms and projection sets open.
- Capture the first usable table with an access date, season stamp, source count, date window, scoring format, and rookie inclusion check.
- Archive periodic snapshots rather than overwriting the July baseline.
- Split category, points, roto, best-ball, salary-cap, dynasty startup, and rookie-draft markets.
- Require a material sample before publishing a consensus ADP; keep isolated rooms in a mock ledger.
- Re-audit after major trades, official health updates, training-camp depth charts, and preseason rotations.
Coverage gaps
- No public platform exposed a complete, trustworthy post-draft 2026-27 ADP sample with methodology by July 18.
- Authenticated draft-room defaults and private completed-draft exports were outside the public sweep.
- Paid draft communities, Discord leagues, and private best-ball datasets were not sampled.
- The surviving public mocks are too few and too format-mixed for confidence intervals or a composite market curve.
- Injury recoveries, final rosters, and opening-night roles remain major sources of price movement.
Open questions
- Which platform will publish the first season-stamped 2026-27 ADP with a disclosed date window and sample size?
- How far will the first live category ADP diverge from points-league ranks for Haliburton, Antetokounmpo, and other format-sensitive players?
- Does Flagg's price settle in the first round after training camp, or remain near the late-first/early-second range seen in early mocks?
- When enough comparable dynasty rookie drafts accumulate, what minimum sample and settings filters should define a publishable ADP?
- Can authenticated exports separate paid drafts from mocks, autopicks, abandoned rooms, and bot-filled lobbies?
