- 9-cat: 280+; points: emergency streamer; dynasty: 350+.
- Role: veteran depth wing outside Utah's healthy 240-minute map.
- 2025-26 Utah baseline: 26 games, 26.2 minutes, 5.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 block, but the defensive rates are too small-sample to project. ESPN Utah stats, accessed 2026-07-18
Fantasy thesis
Konchar arrived in the February Jaren Jackson Jr. trade and remains on Utah's official roster. His low-usage category mix can become streamable during injury clusters, but no single offensive skill forces minutes. NBA/AP trade report, 2026-02-03 · Jazz roster, accessed 2026-07-18
Ceiling: wing injuries create 20 minutes and rebounds/steals utility. Floor: inactive or traded before the deadline.

Pre-NBA: Born March 22, 1996 in West Chicago, Illinois; listed 6'5". He recorded the first triple-double in Summit League tournament history in 2019. Draft: undrafted (2019). Memphis signed him to a two-way contract, converted him to a standard deal, and gave him a three-year, $19 million extension in July 2022.

Durability: Seven seasons with two full ones (72 games in 2021-22 and 2022-23) and repeated interruptions elsewhere — a calf strain and thumb surgery are the documented causes. He played 55 games in 2023-24 and 46 in 2024-25; the 2025-26 total of 56 across two teams reflects a reduced Memphis role before the trade, not injury.
Trajectory: A seven-year specialist career built on rebounding, low turnovers and connective passing from a wing, with no scoring gravity — he has never averaged more than 5.1 points and has cleared 0.8 threes a game exactly zero times. The Utah stretch after the February 3 Jaren Jackson Jr. trade is the outlier: 26.2 minutes, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 block, including a triple-double against New Orleans on April 7. Those defensive rates are roughly double his career marks over 26 games on a lottery team, and the 25.0% three-point shooting in that stretch is the reason the minutes are not likely to survive a healthy Utah wing rotation. He becomes streamable only in an injury cluster that pushes him back above 20 minutes, and the more likely 2026-27 outcome is that his salary is used in a consolidation trade.
