Baseline and projection
Jackson-Davis played 53 games with one start in 2025-26, averaging 9.4 minutes, 3.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.5 blocks and 0.4 turnovers on .573/.514 shooting. Toronto acquired him from Golden State for a 2026 second-round pick in February. Basketball-Reference Toronto transactions, accessed 2026-07-18 · Basketball-Reference team stats

Correction 2026-07-18: raised from 3.0 MPG to 8.0. Three minutes across 55 appearances was below his own 2025-26 baseline of 9.4 MPG in 53 games and did not account for the late-June departures of Mamukelashvili and Mogbo, which leave him and Anderson as the only bigs behind Poeltl and Murray-Boyles. Toronto also picked up his option. Eight minutes still prices him below last season, on the view that Anderson is ahead of him in the small-ball frontcourt order. Hoops Rumors — Mogbo option declined, 2026-06-29
Fantasy value
- Nine-category / points: not draftable at baseline; 10.1 simple FP/G.
- Dynasty: outside top 220; a trade to a thinner center room is the principal upside.
- Ceiling: a Poeltl absence creates 16-20 minutes and a short-term FG/rebounds/blocks stream.
- Floor: DNP-CDs behind Poeltl, Murray-Boyles and Anderson, with Bittle competing in camp.
Career record
Pre-NBA: Four seasons at Indiana (2019-20 through 2022-23), born February 22, 2000, and a starter in all 126 games he played. Production climbed every year and finished in genuinely rare territory: 20.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.9 blocks in 34.5 minutes on .581 shooting as a senior, taking consensus first-team All-American honors and the Karl Malone Award as the nation's best power forward, with Big Ten All-Defensive selections in his final two seasons. The one thing that never improved was the free-throw line — he was between .655 and .695 in all four years. Draft: 2023, second round, 57th overall, Washington; rights traded to Golden State for cash on draft night.

The 2025-26 split: 36 games at 11.4 minutes with Golden State before the February 5 trade, then 17 games at 5.0 minutes in Toronto. His Raptors debut on February 8 was 10 points and 10 rebounds in 15 minutes — the fifth double-double debut in franchise history — and he did not approach that workload again.
Durability: 68, 62 and 53 games across three seasons with no reported significant injury. The declining game and minute counts are rotation decisions, not availability: he lost ground in Golden State's frontcourt, was traded for a second-round pick, and then sat behind Poeltl and Murray-Boyles in Toronto.
Trajectory: A three-year career sliding the wrong way. He has never shot below .573 from the floor because he only takes dunks and layups, and the rookie-year 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 16.6 minutes is a legitimate per-minute profile — but the minutes have fallen every season, from 16.6 to 15.6 to 9.4, and .555 career free-throw shooting caps what any coach will do with him late in games. Toronto exercised his option and the June departures of Mamukelashvili and Mogbo thinned the room, which is the only reason he has a path at all. The condition for fantasy relevance is narrow and specific: a Poeltl injury that forces 16-to-20 minutes at center, or a trade to a team with no established starting five. In a healthy Toronto frontcourt he is the fourth big and undraftable in any format.

- Does Toronto retain him through the Leonard transaction and hard-cap cleanup?
- Is he the first traditional center off the bench when Poeltl sits?
- Can his free-throw shooting improve enough to avoid a category penalty?
