Baseline and projection
Battle appeared in 61 games with two starts in 2025-26, averaging 8.5 minutes, 3.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.1 steals, 0.0 blocks, 0.6 threes and 0.3 turnovers while shooting .510/.643. The field-goal percentage was driven by a tiny role and should not be projected as a high-volume skill. Basketball-Reference, accessed 2026-07-18

Correction 2026-07-18: raised from 5.0 MPG to 12.0 as part of a team-wide rebalancing of the Toronto minute model, which had left 2,732 season-minutes assigned to nobody. Battle is outside the healthy-night twelve, so his appearances are concentrated in exactly the games where a wing is unavailable — and in those games a shooting specialist is played for real minutes or not at all. Five minutes across 42 appearances described neither situation.
Fantasy value
- Nine-category / points: not draftable; 9.4 simple FP/G.
- Dynasty: outside top 220; best held only in 20-team or deep salary formats.
- Ceiling: the Leonard deal removes Ingram/Dick and injuries open 18 MPG, yielding roughly 8 points and 1.5 threes.
- Floor: buried behind Barnes, Barrett, Ingram/Leonard, Walter, Graves and Anderson.
Battle's shooting makes him a logical injury replacement, but his low assist and stocks rates require real volume before fantasy utility appears.
Career record
Pre-NBA: Five college seasons at three schools. Two at George Washington (11.8 points as a freshman; 17.3 on .475 in a 15-game 2020-21, third-team All-Atlantic 10), two at Minnesota (17.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in 2021-22 for honorable-mention All-Big Ten, then a drop to 12.4 on .371/.311 in 2022-23), and a rebound year at Ohio State in 2023-24: 35 games, 15.3 points, 5.2 rebounds on .469/.433/.926. He shot 36 percent or better from three in four of five college seasons. Draft: undrafted (2024). Signed with Toronto on July 16, 2024; converted to a two-way on October 19, 2024, and to a three-year standard contract on February 7, 2025.

Durability: No injury history worth flagging — 59 and 61 games in his two seasons. The 2025-26 minutes collapse from 17.7 to 8.5 was a rotation decision as Toronto's wing depth improved, not availability. He also appeared in six 2026 playoff games at 11.8 minutes.
Trajectory: One skill and a shrinking role. He shot .405 from three on 1.8 makes a night as a rookie and .412 on 0.6 makes in 2025-26 — the accuracy held, the volume did not, and the .510 field-goal percentage is a small-sample artifact of a specialist taking only open looks. He is on a standard contract, which is the only reason he is on the roster conversation at all. Toronto's healthy-night rotation runs Barnes, Barrett, Ingram, Walter, Graves and Anderson ahead of him, so his appearances cluster in games where a wing is already out. He becomes streamable only if a trade removes two of those names or an injury cluster hands him 18-plus minutes as an explicit spacing answer; at that volume the profile is roughly eight points and 1.5 threes with nothing else.
