Nine-cat: outside top 175; punt-FT% streamer. Points: D. Dynasty: 4.0/10.
Correction 2026-07-18: MPG cut from 15.0 to 12.0. This desk had Achiuwa ahead of Raynaud in the bench-big split, which contradicted the ESPN depth chart cited immediately below — Raynaud is second at centre, Achiuwa fourth. Raynaud takes the freed minutes.
Role and evidence
Achiuwa averaged career highs of 10.1 points with 6.7 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 23.9 minutes over 73 games, shooting 52.8% from the field but 55.4% at the line (ESPN statistics). Much of that role came amid major frontcourt injuries.
Sacramento re-signed Achiuwa to a reported two-year deal on July 7 (NBA.com). ESPN lists him second at power forward and fourth at center, behind Sabonis, Raynaud, and Cardwell in nominal center order (depth chart).
Range
- Ceiling: 10/7 with 1.7 stocks if Murray or Sabonis misses time.
- Median: 12-minute reserve and schedule streamer, mostly at the four behind Murray.
- Floor: fewer than 9 minutes if Raynaud holds the backup five outright and Hunter absorbs small-ball four minutes.

Durability: 55-74 games every season, never fewer — a genuinely durable big whose gaps are hamstring-type absences, not structural injuries. Moved via the Lowry sign-and-trade (Miami to Toronto, 2021) and the OG Anunoby trade (Toronto to New York, December 2023: 25 games TOR, 49 NYK); landed in Sacramento in 2025 after being waived by Miami.
Trajectory: Six seasons of near-identical output — roughly 8 and 6 with 1.3 combined stocks in about 21 minutes, a sub-.600 FT line, and no three-point growth. The 2025-26 career highs (10.1 PTS, 6.7 REB) came largely amid Sacramento frontcourt injuries, which is the honest read of his ceiling: he produces when bigs above him sit. In 2026-27 he competes with Raynaud for the first-big-off-the-bench role behind Sabonis and Murray. He becomes fantasy-relevant only as a punt-FT% rebounds-and-stocks streamer when a starting big misses time and his minutes clear roughly 20.

Open questions
- Does Achiuwa play beside Sabonis, or only replace one of the starting bigs?
- Can his FT% recover enough to avoid category damage?
