Caleb Love

Caleb Love is an experienced two-way scoring guard whose shot volume can produce points and threes in call-ups, but poor efficiency and Philadelphia's crowded backcourt make him a deep-league-only watch.

Research cutoff: July 18, 2026. Team: Philadelphia 76ers. Status: two-way guard.

Love's 2025-26 baseline was roughly 49 games and 20.7 minutes: .388/.735, 1.9 threes, 10.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.1 blocks, and 1.3 turnovers. His Philadelphia rate falls because call-ups will usually have fewer on-ball possessions. Hashtag dynasty/stat page, updated July 2, 2026

Health and uncertainty

No current restriction was found. Two-way active limits and six players ahead of him matter more than health. His neutral healthy allocation is zero; the ten-minute forecast is per NBA appearance.

Career record

Pre-NBA: Five college seasons — three at North Carolina (2020-21 through 2022-23) and two at Arizona (2023-24, 2024-25). He scored at a high rate throughout and never shot well doing it: 10.5 points on .316 as a freshman, then 15.9, 16.7, 18.0 and 17.2, with a career-best .413 field goal mark in his one Pac-12 Player of the Year season. Second- and third-team All-American in 2024, first-team All-Big 12 in 2025, ACC All-Freshman in 2021, McDonald's All-American in 2020. He started for the UNC team that reached the 2022 national championship game. Draft: undrafted (2025); signed a two-way with Portland on July 1, 2025.

Career 49 20.7 10.4 2.3 2.5 0.6 0.1 1.9 .388 .735 1.3

He also spent time with the Rip City Remix in the G League during 2025-26. A reported stretch from late February produced roughly 25 points, 4.8 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, but that is a partial-season figure and is not verified here as a full-season G League average.

Durability: No injury issues reported. The 49 games reflect two-way active limits and roster status, not health.

Trajectory: Unusually productive for a two-way rookie — 20.7 minutes and 10.4 points across 49 games is a real NBA sample, and it came on a Portland team with minutes to give. The problem is that the college efficiency profile came with him unchanged: .388 from the field on 10.0 attempts, .318 from three on 6.0 attempts. That is a player who will shoot regardless of role, which produces points and threes in bulk on call-up nights and actively damages a fantasy team's percentages. Philadelphia signed him to a two-way on July 5, 2026, and the situation is worse for volume than Portland's was — Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, Anfernee Simons and VJ Edgecombe are all ahead of him, with Rayan Rupert competing for the same active two-way slot. His neutral allocation is zero NBA minutes. He matters only during a multi-player backcourt injury wave, and even then the shape is 20-plus minutes of high-volume, low-efficiency scoring — useful in points leagues for a week, corrosive in nine-cat.
