2026-27 base projection
| GP | MPG | FG% (FGA) | FT% (FTA) | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Nine-category/points: not draftable at base minutes. Dynasty: deep hold for efficient scoring and defensive-role growth; low assists/blocks restrict the fantasy ceiling even with a promotion.
Range and risks
- Strengths: FG%, some threes/steals and real-life switchability.
- Liabilities: low creation and blocks, crowded path.
- Floor/base/ceiling: outside rotation / 7 minutes / 20-minute wing after multiple exits, about 9/4 with one three and one steal.
- Branches: Grant, KCP and Murray departures help; Coward/Wells/Boozer remain ahead regardless.
The multi-year deal supports roster confidence, while the 53-game baseline supports an NBA role. No credible source promises rotation minutes, so the model separates contract security from fantasy opportunity. Memphis multi-year signing report

Career record
Pre-NBA: Canadian, born in Montreal. One season at Clemson (2020-21): 22 games, 2.5 points, 1.9 rebounds on .346/.167. Transferred to Marquette for two years — 6.6 points and 3.3 rebounds on .461/.317 as a sophomore, then 12.5 points and 4.7 rebounds on .512/.339 as a junior in 2022-23, the season Marquette won the Big East. A defense-and-athleticism prospect whose jumper was never the selling point. Draft: 2023, round 1, pick 24, Sacramento Kings; rights traded that night to Dallas alongside Richaun Holmes.

Durability: One real absence. Ligament damage in his right wrist required season-ending surgery on March 7, 2025, capping 2024-25 at 52 games. Otherwise available — 40 games as a rookie and 53 in 2025-26 reflect rotation status, not health, and there is no reported issue heading into 2026-27.
Trajectory: The 2025-26 season is a genuine step and not a small one: field-goal percentage jumped from .402 to .549, free-throw percentage from .645 to .754, and threes from 0.2 to 1.1 per game, all while minutes rose to 18.6 across 53 games with 24 starts. The caveat is that a .549 mark from a career .481 shooter, in the season after wrist surgery, is more likely a shot-diet effect — cuts, transition, corner threes inside a good offense — than a new true talent level. Dallas waived him in September 2025; Memphis took him on a two-way and converted him to a standard two-year deal on March 4, 2026, so roster security is settled while minutes are not. Coward, Wells and Boozer sit ahead of him. He becomes fantasy-relevant if two of those wings are traded or hurt and he holds 20-plus minutes, which would produce roughly nine points, four rebounds, a three and a steal — a FG%-and-steals specialist line, capped by near-zero assists and blocks.
