2026-27 base projection
| GP | MPG | FG% (FGA) | FT% (FTA) | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 56 | 9 | .455 (4.2) | .740 (1.2) | 0.6 | 5.0 | 1.8 | 0.6 | 0.3 | 0.3 | 0.7 |
Nine-category/points: outside standard redraft at base minutes; points and threes streamer if promoted. Dynasty: young upside hold, but the range is wide because Boozer, Grant, Coward, Wells, Prosper and Hendricks all need forward minutes.
Range and risks
- Strengths: scoring aggression, threes, rebounds and some blocks.
- Liabilities: uncertain efficiency, low assists and role-dependent volume.
- Floor/base/ceiling: G League/out of rotation / 9-minute scorer / Grant trade plus injuries produces 24 minutes and roughly 14/5 with 1.5 threes.
- Branches: Grant leaving is helpful; Boozer's central role limits the old high-usage path even then.
The 55-game line demonstrates NBA scoring ability, while the July depth chart creates a much smaller median role. Public analysis generally disagrees on opportunity rather than on Jackson's ability to score; no team statement promises him a rotation place.

Career record
Pre-NBA: One season at South Carolina, 2022-23, after reclassifying to become the youngest player in college basketball at 17 β team-leading 15.4 PPG with 5.9 RPG and 0.8 APG in about 32 MPG, on rough efficiency (.384 FG%, .324 3P%, .677 FT%) for an 11-21 team. Draft: 2023, Round 2, Pick 45, Memphis Grizzlies.

Durability: The one real flag is 2024-25 β a broken right foot suffered in July 2024 required surgery and held him to 29 games. 48 GP as a rookie reflected a mid-season call-up into a tanking team's rotation, and 55 GP in 2025-26 reflected role volatility more than health. Trajectory: The record shows a genuine NBA scorer at an unusually young age β 14.6 PPG at 19 on an injury-gutted roster β followed by a lost foot-injury year and a 2025-26 rebound in which the efficiency finally arrived (.496 FG%, up from .428 and .372) at lower three-point volume. He enters 2026-27 at 21 with 132 games and a career 12.1 PPG, competing for reserve forward minutes in a badly congested room. He becomes fantasy-relevant if a Grant trade or forward injuries restore 20+ minutes, where the 2023-24 season is proof he can immediately produce points and threes at streamer-or-better level.
