Narcisse Ngoy

Narcisse Ngoy is a Clippers draft-rights stash who intends to play for Auburn in 2026-27, making his NBA redraft projection zero while preserving an unusual long-horizon rebounds-and-blocks profile.

This is a status projection, not a statement about his Auburn production. The Clippers acquired Ngoy's rights from Atlanta, while Auburn officially signed the seven-footer for 2026-27 and his agent said he intended to honor that commitment. Reversal signal

Only a signed NBA contract or an explicit change to the Auburn plan should move Ngoy into the 2026-27 minute model.

Career record

Pre-NBA: French, born July 13, 2004 in Paris; listed at 7-0. Three professional seasons in France before the draft: Chorale Roanne Basket in 2023-24, Rouen Métropole Basket in 2024-25, and Poitiers Basket 86 in 2025-26. The Poitiers year is the one with a record worth reporting — 30 regular-season games in Pro B (French Elite 2, the second division) at roughly 10.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 2.7 blocks in fewer than 25 minutes per game on about 70% shooting from the field. He led the league in single-game rebounding with 21 boards, added 19- and 16-rebound games, peaked at six blocks, and closed on 13.0 points and 13.0 rebounds over his final five games with double-digit rebounds in each. He was named Elite 2 MVP. Because he turned 22 in the draft calendar year he was automatically draft-eligible without forfeiting NCAA eligibility, and he had already signed with Auburn on March 31, 2026. Draft: 2026, second round, 57th pick, Atlanta Hawks; rights traded to the Los Angeles Clippers shortly afterward.

Ngoy has not appeared in an NBA regular-season game and is not expected to in 2026-27. His most recent competitive season is the 2025-26 Poitiers line above; his next is Auburn (SEC).

Durability: Nothing on record. He played a full 30-game Pro B season in 2025-26.

Trajectory: The profile is narrow and legible: a 7-0 rim protector who rebounds at an extreme rate and finishes at 70% because he only shoots what is given to him. Those rates came against second-division French competition, which is the entire question — Auburn in the SEC is the first honest test of whether the rebounding and shot-blocking survive against NBA-caliber athletes. He is a draft-and-stash whose stash happens to be a college roster, an arrangement with no modern precedent, so the 2026-27 NBA projection is zero games by design rather than by depth-chart competition. He becomes a dynasty asset worth holding if the Auburn season confirms the block and rebound rates and he signs with the Clippers in summer 2027; he becomes irrelevant if the offense stays this limited or the rights sit unexercised for multiple years. Nothing short of a signed NBA contract should move him into a redraft model.
