Nine-cat: late-round threes and low-turnover specialist. Points: C. Dynasty: 4.0/10 because the skill is durable but the age and role are not.
Role and evidence
Robinson averaged 12.2 points, 2.9 threes, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 27.4 minutes over 77 games, shooting .456 from the field, per Basketball-Reference. Detroit's current official roster continued to list him on July 18 despite early-offseason speculation about roster maneuvering.
He remains valuable to lineups with Thompson or Duren because his movement shooting changes defensive geometry. Joe overlaps directly, Huerter overlaps partially, and Collins adds frontcourt spacing; those additions make 20-23 minutes a safer median than a repeat of 27. Robinson can still close on nights when Detroit needs maximum offense.
Range
- Ceiling: 26 MPG, nearly three threes and 12 points, enough for top-120 category value.
- Floor: 15-18 MPG or a later transaction, leaving him as a threes streamer only.

Durability: 68+ games in six of the last seven seasons. The two low years were role, not health: 15 GP in 2018-19 on a two-way, and 42 GP in 2022-23 when he fell out of Miami's rotation (with late-season finger surgery). A back issue surfaced late in 2024-25 without becoming chronic.
Trajectory: The record is one of the NBA's cleanest specialist arcs: undrafted D-III transfer to two-way to a 3.7-threes-per-game peak (2019-20), a 2022-23 crater, then a reinvention as a movement shooter with secondary handle who has delivered 2.6-2.9 threes on 44-46% FG for three straight seasons — including a durable, efficient first Detroit year. In 2026-27 he competes with Isaiah Joe and Kevin Huerter for Detroit's movement-shooter minutes. He is fantasy-relevant whenever he holds ~24+ MPG: the threes, high FT% on low volume, and near-zero turnovers are a stable late-round category package, and nothing in the record suggests the shooting itself is declining at 32.

Open questions
- Is Robinson still on the opening-night roster after all contract deadlines pass?
- Does Bickerstaff treat him or Joe as the preferred movement shooter?
- Can he keep enough secondary playmaking to separate from pure specialists?
