Team: Denver Nuggets · Position: PF/C · Rookie season · Pick No. 35
Reported baseline
Brazile averaged 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.6 blocks and 1.3 threes in 31.5 minutes over 36 games for Arkansas, shooting 52.5% from the field and 71.7% at the line.1 Denver traded down from No. 26 to draft him 35th while acquiring two future second-rounders, then officially signed him July 10.2 3
The strongest July flash was 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting with six threes and six rebounds against Oklahoma City; he also posted 19 points and eight rebounds against Portland.4 Those games support the high tail of the shooting projection but are not NBA-role evidence.

Correction 2026-07-18: minutes cut from 12 to 7 and counting stats rescaled (rates held constant), because the team desk's primary minute model now assumes Peyton Watson is retained. Hoops Rumors reported July 17 that Denver values Watson "significantly" and believes it is positioned well to keep him, with the interested teams all over the cap, so retention is the modal outcome rather than a branch. Brazile absorbs the largest single cut on the roster because Watson's forward minutes stack on top of three signed bigs already ahead of him. The prior 12-minute line survives as the Watson-departs contingency. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2026/07/nuggets-rumors-watson-joerger-roddy-diallo.html
9-cat per-game band: 250-plus. Points: deep-league watch list. Dynasty: Denver's preferred rookie stash; blocks, steals and threes offer a path to future category relevance.
Fantasy profile
- Helps: blocks, rebounds and transition finishing; theoretical threes plus steals are the differentiators.
- Hurts: FT%, playmaking and rookie efficiency/turnovers if asked to create.
- Floor: G League/developmental season below 8 MPG, especially if Watson returns or another center signs.
- Ceiling: wins a 20-MPG reserve frontcourt role and approaches one three plus one block per game, a top-160 category profile.
Role, health, and confidence
Brazile can compete at both reserve frontcourt spots, but Bagley, Nnaji and Holmes are signed and Aaron Gordon absorbs small-ball center minutes. His Arkansas record also includes a prior season-ending right ACL injury, relevant background but not evidence of a current restriction.1 Roster confidence high, minutes low, rate low-medium, availability medium.

Career record
Pre-NBA: Five college seasons — Missouri 2021-22 (25 GP: 6.6 PTS / 5.1 REB / 1.9 BLK on .534 FG), then Arkansas 2022-26. His 2022-23 season ended at 9 games (11.8 PTS / 6.0 REB) with a torn ACL and a medical redshirt; 2023-24: 26 GP, 8.6 / 5.9 / 1.2 BLK (.488/.353/.695); 2024-25: 34 GP, 6.8 / 5.4 / 1.1 BLK (.600 FG); 2025-26 (senior): 36 GP / 35 GS, 31.5 MPG, 13.0 PTS / 7.3 REB / 1.6 AST / 1.5 STL / 1.6 BLK / 1.3 3PM on .525/.341/.717 — SEC All-Tournament Team, two-time SEC Player of the Week, only Razorback ever with 40+ threes, 40+ blocks and 40+ steals in one season. College career: 130 GP, 9.2 PTS / 6.0 REB on .528/.351/.662. Draft: 2026, Round 2, Pick 35 (selected by San Antonio, rights traded to Denver, which moved down from No. 26 for two future seconds).
No NBA regular-season record — his most recent competitive season is 2025-26 at Arkansas, plus a 2026 Summer League flash (32 points with six threes vs. Oklahoma City).
Durability: One structural red flag: the 2022-23 ACL tear cost him 27-plus games, and he missed the first 8 games of 2021-22 with a medical issue plus 8-plus games in 2023-24. But he answered it — 34 of 36 and then 36 of 37 games the last two seasons, including a 46:37 double-OT outing, so the knee is demonstrated healthy under a full-starter load.
Trajectory: The college record shows a rare stocks-plus-threes big: his senior year combined 1.6 blocks, 1.5 steals and 1.3 threes on 34% deep volume, exactly the category cocktail that makes fantasy centers interesting. It took him five college years and an ACL rehab to put a full season together, which is why he lasted to pick 35. In 2026-27 he competes for the fourth or fifth big-man spot in Denver behind Gordon, Bagley, Nnaji and Holmes (plus Watson's wing-forward minutes); he becomes fantasy-relevant only if he cracks roughly 18-20 MPG — via a Watson departure, an injury, or beating Nnaji/Holmes outright in camp — at which point the block-steal-three profile could return top-160 value at near-zero cost.
