Tarik Biberovic

Tarik Biberović is a real Dallas rotation candidate—not a rights-only stash—whose best immediate fantasy path is high-volume threes in Klay Thompson's role.

Dallas acquired his NBA rights July 8 and signed him July 10. He averaged 11.3 points and shot 41.9% from three in 41 EuroLeague games, then 12.3 points with 48.9% three-point shooting in 25 Turkish-league games. The projection applies a large NBA difficulty/role discount.

Career record

Pre-NBA: Born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 28, 2001; represents Turkey internationally. He came up at OKK Spars (Liga BiH, 2016-18) and then spent eight seasons at Fenerbahçe, the top level of European club basketball, playing both the Turkish Super League and EuroLeague. His EuroLeague career line through 2025-26 is 7.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 154 games on .497 from the field and .421 from three. In 2025-26 he took a clear step up: 11.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists on .419 from three across 41 EuroLeague games, plus 12.3 points on .489 from three in 25 Turkish Super League games. Honors: 2025 EuroLeague champion, four Turkish Super League titles (2022, 2024, 2025, 2026), and 2026 Turkish Cup Final MVP after a 28-point, 10-rebound final. Draft: 2023, second round, 56th overall, Memphis. Memphis traded his rights to Dallas on July 8, 2026 as part of the Santi Aldama deal; he signed a two-year, $6 million contract with a 2027-28 team option on July 10.

Biberović has never appeared in an NBA regular season game. His most recent professional season is the 2025-26 Fenerbahçe campaign above.

Durability: No NBA record. He was available for a full EuroLeague and domestic-league schedule in 2025-26 — 41 plus 25 games — which is a heavy workload and argues against any hidden availability problem.

Trajectory: This is a 25-year-old finished product arriving from the second-best league in the world, not a developmental stash. The bet is narrow and legible: a high-volume, high-efficiency movement shooter who has made better than 40 percent from three against EuroLeague defense, with limited playmaking and no defensive statistical profile to fall back on. He is competing for the wing minutes behind and alongside Dallas's established shooters, and his role will be settled quickly because the contract gives Dallas a fast evaluation window. He becomes fantasy-relevant the moment he holds 20-plus minutes as the second unit's designated shooter — most likely if a veteran wing ahead of him is traded or misses time — because at that volume the threes alone carry deep-league value.
