Fantasy translation
- Redraft: outside standard formats; occasional low-turnover streamer.
- Points: low usage and few defensive events leave him outside the normal points-league pool even when he plays 20 minutes.
- Dynasty: veteran roster stabilizer, not an appreciation asset.
Role, floor and ceiling
Mann can fill every non-center lineup need, yet Brooklyn has stronger incentives to evaluate Keon Ellis, Josh Minott and Drake Powell. Floor: out of the nightly rotation or traded. Ceiling: 23 minutes and a repeat of his low-end 2025-26 line.
Risk monitor
Right-patellar-tendon tendinosis and Achilles soreness cost time late in 2025-26. Role compression is the larger concern.

Durability: Genuinely durable through his prime — 81, 81, 75 games from 2021-24, and the 67 total in 2024-25 reflected the midseason trade, not injury. The 63 games in 2025-26 came with right-patellar-tendon tendinosis and late-season Achilles soreness, his first real soft-tissue flags.
Trajectory: The record shows a low-usage glue wing whose one fantasy-adjacent season (2021-22: 10.8/5.2/2.6 at 28.6 MPG) required a starter's minutes he has not seen since. Efficiency has drifted down from the .515-.519 FG% peak to .457 in Brooklyn as his shot diet moved away from the rim. In 2026-27 he competes to be the first veteran wing off the Nets' bench against a roster incentivized to play its young wings. He becomes fantasy-relevant only if injuries or a trade hand him 28+ minutes again — and even then he is a percentage-and-assists depth piece, not a counting-stat source.
