Where
- Repo:
~/Desktop/Code/fantasy-encyclopedia/— deployable to GitHub Pages as-is. - Local preview:
python3 serve.pyin the repo, then http://localhost:8901. - Regenerate after vault edits:
python3 build.py(idempotent, rebuilds all ~644 pages in seconds).
What it renders
| Surface | Content |
|---|---|
| Home | Masthead, the hub note, team directory by division |
| Team hubs (30) | The team desk plus an auto-generated roster grid sorted by 9-cat rank |
| Player pages (555) | Dossier with a fact card: team, 9-cat per-game and totals rank, ESPN points rank, projected GP/MPG, FG/FT on real attempts |
| All-players index | Filterable, sortable table of every dossier with both format ranks side by side |
| Draft room, projections, strategy, library, research | Every remaining note, wikilinks resolved to hyperlinks |
Search is diacritic-insensitive ("jokic" finds Jokić). Two themes: paper (ivory, default) and lamplight (dark sepia). LaTeX renders via KaTeX; the projection CSVs are downloadable under data/.
Design notes
Antique-serif register — EB Garamond display over Source Serif 4 text, oxblood accents, double-rule ornaments, small-caps labels — on the same architecture as the other Park sites (pre-generated static pages, token CSS, persisted theme, client-side search). Links to notes outside this encyclopedia render as dotted red links rather than broken hyperlinks.
Quality gate at last build: 644 pages, 59,948 internal links, zero broken.
Open questions
- Should the wiki deploy to GitHub Pages, and under which repo name?
- Should
build.pyrun automatically (a cron or a vault-save hook) so the site never lags the vault? - The fact card shows only pooled players (262); should deep-bench pages pull their status line from the dossier prose instead of the "outside the pool" note?
